I’m setting up a SOCKS proxy, but some pages give errors such as “server not found” or “IP address not found”.

Please configure the SOCKS proxy to be used for referring to the DNS server as well.

In order to display a page that can only be accessed from a specific network, it may be necessary to refer to the DNS server installed on the specific network being accessed.

For Firefox

1. Open settings screen

2. Click General \(\Rightarrow\) Connection Settings to open the Internet Connections screen.

3. At the bottom of the Internet Connection screen, click When using SOCSK v5, DNS also uses a proxy.
