Students/Faculty: How to Use Office on a Personal PC

If you want to use Office for your personal PC, please download it from https://login.microsoftonline.com/ .

How to Use

  1. Log in to Microsoft 365

Log in to the Microsoft 365 portal page (https://login.microsoftonline.com/) according to the How to use (How to login) .

  1. Download/install Office for Microsoft 365

  1. Start the installed Office client app for PC and log in.

  1. Start Word, Excel, or PowerPoint included in the installed Office client app for PC.

Hint

Here we will use Excel as an example. The process is the same no matter which application you start.

  1. As shown below, Click アカウント \(\Rightarrow\) サインイン, enter <UEC account>@ms.cc.uec.ac.jp on the displayed login screen, and click Next.

If your UEC account name is x2000000 \(\Rightarrow\) x2000000@ms.cc.uec.ac.jp

  1. When the Google login screen appears, enter your UEC Cloud Account (<UEC account name>@gl.cc.uec.ac.jp) and click 次へ (Next).

If your UEC account name is x2000000 \(\Rightarrow\) x2000000@gl.cc.uec.ac.jp

  1. Check license status

If the university name is displayed in 接続済みサービス名 (Connected Service Name) and 大企業向け Microsoft 365 (Microsoft 365 for Large Enterprises) is displayed in サブスクリプション製品 (Subscription Product) as shown below, you are done.

Hint

If you log in with any one such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., you will be logged in with all other software.
