Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

Basic Information

Our university has contracted Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (formerly Microsoft Imagine) for the School of Informatics and Engineering and the Graduate School of Informatics and Engineering. Based on this agreement, you can use Microsoft products for teaching and research purposes.

Warning

The software license provided by Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is different from a regular software license; it can be used for web searches, email usage, and report writing for class and research purposes, but it cannot be used for personal email or It cannot be used for browsing/searching websites, writing texts, or operating information infrastructure in laboratories, etc. For more information, please check Azure Dev Tools for Teaching .

How to Use The Software

How to use the software is as follows.

  1. Access Azure Education Hub .

  2. Log in with your Dentsu University Microsoft account, ie <UEC account ID>@ms.cc.uec.ac.jp. For details, see How to use (login method) .

  3. Select one of the software developer tools in Education Hub to open the download window.

  4. Read the software information to ensure compatibility between the software and your computer system.

  5. Once you have verified that the software is compatible with your system, select Download.

  6. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install the software.
