Basic Information

Xming is an X Server for Windows. This is for using a desktop environment or GUI application running on a remote UNIX server from a Windows PC. For detailed information on Xming, please refer to the official page below.

How to Use

At our university, Website Releases are available under a comprehensive license. If you wish to use it, please contact the Information Technology Center ( support@cc.uec.ac.jp ) via On-campus Email. At that time, please specify the following information.

• Affiliation

• Name

• UEC account name

Caution

We will share Website Releases using UEC Disk2. It cannot be shared with users who have never logged in to UEC Disk. Please log in once before contacting us.

For students, it is possible to install the software onto a supplied PC for use. At this time, please apply from the instructor in charge. For personal use by students, please use the free version.
