In addition to the internal email provided by the Information Technology Center (@uec.ac.jp @edu.cc.uec.ac.jp), some departments and laboratories operate their own email systems. If you wish to send or receive emails using these unique email systems, please take the following steps.
Please check the settings with the administrator of the system that provides email service for each domain. The settings differ depending on the domain (the part to the right of the @ mark in the email address).
The only email system provided by the Information Technology Center is @edu.cc.uec.ac.jp (@uec.ac.jp).

Please configure the sending settings in the following order to use the university-wide email sending server.
Configure email sending settings for each email service
With the exception of the university-wide email transmission server (mx-delivery.uec.ac.jp), sending emails from off-campus networks using the campus email transmission server is prohibited.
Follow the steps below to configure the existing email sending server settings to use the university-wide email sending server (mx-delivery.uec.ac.jp).
After starting Mail, select Mail from the toolbar and click Preferences.
Select the account whose From address you want to change on the Account screen, go to the Server Settings tab, and select the account under :guilabel:`Outgoing mail server (SMTP). ` Click the field.
Edit SMTP server list… Click on the field.
Click the + button in the opened window and enter the setting information referring to Basic Information.
