I am using an Android 12 device and cannot access the VPN.

We have confirmed that “L2TP/IPsec VPN settings cannot be added” on devices with Android 12 installed. Since the settings created before the update are functional, we believe that this is due to a limitation in the Android settings screen. I get an error message “PPP link control protocol terminated” and cannot connect.

Please try the following two things.

Protocol Permissions

  1. Open the control panel and go to Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Go to “Change adapter settings .

  2. Open the properties of the registered VPN.

  3. When the property settings window appears, open the “Security” tab.

  4. Select Allow the following protocols (P) and check the following three checkboxes.

  • Unencrypted Password (PAP)(U)

  • Challenge Handshake Accreditation Protocol (CHAP)(H)

  • Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2)

  1. Go to OK and try connecting again.

Uninstalling Updates

Make sure that the following two updates are not installed on your PC.

  • KB5025305

  • KB5026372

Both of these updates are preview updates and should have been updated manually. If either one of them is installed, uninstalling the software may restore the situation.

  4. その後再起動してから，再度VPN接続をお試しください．

Windows 11 の端末を使用しているがVPN接続できません．

現在，Windows 11 の一部端末においてVPN接続が出来ないという事象が確認されています． 解決策の1つとして以下の方法をお試しください．

Caution

  • 有線LANのみ当設定が可能だと思われます．またデバイスドライバに依存するため，この設定が行えないドライバが存在する可能性があります．

  • 一時的回避策となりますので，OSで当問題が解消したした際は設定をお戻しください．

  1. Open the control panel and go to Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Go to “Change adapter settings .

  2. 現在接続しているネットワークのデバイスの プロパティ を開いてください．

  3. 構成 > 詳細設定 を選択してください．

  4. UDP チェックサムのオフロード（IPv4） と UDP チェックサムのオフロード（IPv6） という項目の値を 無効 にし再度接続をお試しください．

「指定したユーザー名またはパスワードが認識されないか、選択したプロトコルがリモートアクセスサーバーで許可されていないため、リモート接続が拒否されました」と表示されます

多くの場合，事前共有鍵を間違っています．

メモアプリなどでペーストした後に確認してコピー・ペーストで保存してください．

空白も文字と認識されるので注意して入力してください．

macOSでVPNを接続しても学内サイトが見れない

すべてのトラフィックをVPN接続経由で送信がオンになっていない可能性があります．

オプションから すべてのトラフィックをVPN接続経由で送信 をONにし，作成 をクリックしてください．
