  1. Preparing equipment and internet connection

A person in charge of the Information Infrastructure Center will contact you. After the meeting, please prepare the following for your base.

  • Internet connection contract with global IP address

  • VPN Router

Note

Although it is possible to use a VPN with a home-use best-effort Internet connection, we recommend a dedicated contract or a contract with guaranteed bandwidth for stable performance. When assigning a global IP address, it is preferable to use a fixed IP address, but a dynamic IP address can also be used.

Note

We recommend YAMAHA RTX830 as a VPN router. It is possible to use other models, but operation confirmation must be made in advance.

  1. Installation and communication confirmation

Please discuss the procedure with the person in charge of the Information Infrastructure Center, and then perform the setup work and confirm the opening of the service at the site.
