Changing the license server reference method (Windows 10)

  1. Open the Start menu.

  2. Select settings.

  1. Enter Display advanced system settings in the Search settings box to search.

  1. Select Display detailed system settings in the search results.

  1. Click the Advanced tab to access the Environment Variables button.

  1. To add a new variable, click the New… button in the System variables section.

  1. Type MLM_LICENSE_FILE in the Variable name field.Type 27000@matlab1.license.cc.uec.ac.jp;27000@matlab2.license.cc.uec.ac.jp in the Variable value field.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Delete the license file C:\Program Files\MATLAB\<version>\licenses that was temporarily used during installation. <version> is the version code of MATLAB you are using.

  3. Start MATLAB and confirm that no license authentication error is displayed.
